President Trump has ordered the Department of Commerce to get the Census done with the correct numbers, as even the Census people have said the last census was incorrect in over counting in the blue states and under counting in the red states. This changes everything, because the number of seats in the house of representatives is determined by the population in each district in each state. On top of this recounting without the illegal aliens counted, the State of Texas is redrawing the district lines according to registrations not by race, which is how they are drawn at the moment. It is racist to do so, and Texas will be the tip of the spear for other states to change their district lines without the gerrymandering of deciding districts by race, instead of population and registration of voters. This may go all the way to the Supreme Court. Looks like the Republican party finally grew a pair of balls to fight fire with fire.
Now this also changes the Electoral College, which is how we decide who the President is in this country. What is the makeup of the Electoral College? The total number of electors is 538. Each state is assigned a number of electors equal to its two Senate seats plus the number of seats in the House of Representatives. Per the 23rd Amendment, the District of Columbia is allotted three electoral votes.

This is why the Dems are screaming, yelling and melting down, and running away in Texas to prevent a forum, instead of voting and losing in the redrawing of district lines in Texas.
